In order to actively implement the spirit of the document "Proposal of Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan of Zhengzhou's National Economic and Social Development and the Long-term Objectives for 2035", accelerate the construction of the international overseas offshore innovation base of Zhongyuan Science and Technology City, and promote the deep innovation cooperation between China and Britain in the photoelectric industry and biomedical industry, on the afternoon of January 13th and 14th, a series of activities "China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Platform" was held in China and Britain (Xinxiang-Wales).
The two meetings were hosted by Ma Qingyun, chief representative of China Office of Welsh Government, UK, and invited the heads of relevant departments of Welsh regional government, universities, research institutes, domestic governments, industry experts, research institutes, business representatives, etc. to combine the current situation of the two countries and focus on the industrial policies, cooperation modes and cooperation prospects of the two places. In-depth discussion and consensus were reached on the cooperation between Lily Optoelectronics and the British Optoelectronic Expert Center and the University of South Wales in the fields of photoelectricity, such as joint research and application transformation of biomedical industry and medical technology transformation and application. Henan Province and Wales have broad prospects for cooperation in the fields of optoelectronic industry, biomedical and cancer research. Both sides negotiated and signed a memorandum of understanding, relying on projects, and reached project cooperation to promote industrial cooperation.
