On December 15, 2020, Chang Linchao, director of Henan Productivity Promotion Center, and his party visited the Platform to investigate the innovation and development of the Sino-British International Technology Transfer Center. Director Chang and his party first visited the Sino-British Biomedical Innovation Sharing Accelerator Project signed by the platform with Zhengdong New District in 2019. As a key project in Henan Province in 2019, this project has invited the national biomedical laboratory team and the National Health and Health Commission project to settle in, and signed a contract with Zhongyuan Science and Technology City to contribute to the high-quality economic development of Zhengzhou. Subsequently, the two sides held an international technology transfer symposium on "focusing on key points and creating brand" in the lecture hall.
At the symposium, President Ren Xiang reported the development of Sino-British International Technology Transfer Center to the leaders attending the meeting. Thanks to the strong support of the Science and Technology Department, the China-UK International Technology Transfer Center is committed to attracting overseas Chinese from Henan, overseas high-end talents and innovative talents with international vision, promoting the construction of the first offshore bilateral incubation accelerator for international science and technology innovation in Henan overseas, and building an international technology transfer center equipped with all-round industrial acceleration capability. There are related industries such as biomedicine, Internet of Things electronic chips and big data. Since 2018, more than 20 international high-end talents have been recruited, and more than 30 international innovation projects have been promoted. Some projects have been gradually developed. More than 30 British parliamentarians, earl, business representatives and industry experts have been invited to visit Henan to actively promote the high-quality development of digital economy industry in Henan Province. Director Chang highly affirmed and praised the rapid development of the center. He said that the Sino-British International Technology Transfer Center, as the first batch of specialized technology transfer centers established by the Henan Productivity Promotion Center (Henan International Technology Transfer Center), played a good exemplary leading role and promoted the innovative development of international technology transfer in Henan Province.
Finally, Director Chang pointed out that today's world is undergoing a great change in a hundred years, and Sino-foreign cooperation and exchanges are facing many challenges.
