On the afternoon of June 8th, Wu Jian, director of the 22nd Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (China Radio Communication Research Institute), made a special trip to Zhengzhou to visit the leaders of Zhengzhou Zhengdong New District Management Committee, and to implement the strategic cooperation agreement signed by China Electronics Technology Group and Henan Provincial People's Government on April 6th, 2017, and accelerate the establishment of China Electronics Technology (Zhengzhou) Tianbo Haikang Technology Co., Ltd. (tentative name) signed by the 22nd Institute and CLP Haikang Group Co., Ltd. at the 2019 Digital Economy Summit and Henan Intelligent Industry Ecological Construction International Exchange Conference. Niu Ruihua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhengdong New District, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee, Ma Anzhuang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Wei Ningdi, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, and Ren Xiang, Chairman of China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Platform attended the meeting. The two sides agreed that next, they will strengthen communication and contact, speed up the work progress, and ensure the early landing of the project.
China Radio Propagation Research Institute is a national-level professional research institute specializing in the observation and application technology research of radio wave environmental characteristics in China, and it is also one of the large-scale international national-level institutions for observation and research of radio wave environmental characteristics. It is one of the first batch of master's degree awarding units in China, the affiliated unit of the Radio Propagation Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the state-authorized publisher of radio propagation prediction and ionospheric disturbance prediction services, the domestic counterpart leader unit of the third research group of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R), the Chinese representative unit of the F Committee and G Committee of the International Union of Radio Sciences (URSI), and a regional center of the International Union of Radio Sciences and the World Day Service (IUWDS).
After the symposium, Director Wu Jian visited the Sino-British Science and Technology Innovation Platform located in Jiyun Building, Zhengdong New District, and had an in-depth exchange with Ren Xiang, Chairman of the Platform, on further deepening cooperation and implementing the conference results of Xinxiang-Wales International Innovation Cooperation Symposium and Sino-British (Xinxiang-Wales) International Video Seminar on Integration of Industry and Education. The two sides will accelerate the cooperative development of smart agriculture, new infrastructure, smart cities and international integration of production and education through various forms of cooperation and joint research and development of IoT chips and related module products.
In the next step, the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform and its Huizhimeng science and technology team will make great efforts to promote the construction of new infrastructure with 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, industrial internet, etc. as the mainstay, cultivate new kinetic energy for high-quality development of Henan economy, accelerate the innovation and development of chip industry and Internet of Things industry, and help the construction of digital economy in Henan province.
