The symposium focused on cooperation issues such as Sino-British Science and Technology Innovation Alliance City, Sino-British joint education, international integration of production and education and Sino-British smart farm project. Xinxiang, as one of the important central cities in northern Henan, the Central Plains Economic Zone and the core cities of Central Plains urban agglomeration, is the economic, educational and transportation center of northern Henan. On behalf of the Welsh government, Ms. Ma Qingyun briefly introduced the economic development, seven pillar industries and technological innovation advantages of Wales to the leaders attending the meeting. Wales has the largest compound semiconductor cluster in Europe and a mature production-education integration base, and has established a world-leading regenerative medicine system. The famous father of stem cells graduated from Cardiff University.
Later, Ms. Ma Qingyun had in-depth exchanges with Xinxiang Medical College, Henan Institute of Science and Technology, 22nd Institute of China Electronics Technology Group, Science and Technology Bureau, Education Bureau, Sino-British Science and Technology Innovation Platform and other participating institutions, government departments and innovation institutions on specific issues such as international cooperation in running schools and international innovation cooperation.
