On the morning of May 19th, 2020, Xu Wenfeng, chairman of Henan Zhengzhou New Area Construction Investment Co., Ltd. and his party visited the biomedical innovation sharing accelerator of Sino-British science and technology innovation platform located in Jiyun Investment Building for an exchange inspection. Ren Xiang, chairman of the platform, Ge Yuan, vice president of Euromonitor Capital, Dr. Wei Dan, representative of overseas high-level talents introduced by the platform, and other leaders of relevant departments attended the event.
Under the guidance and introduction of Dr. Wei Dan, Chairman Xu Wenfeng and his party visited the modern shared office space of nearly 2,000 square meters of the platform Sino-British biomedical innovation sharing accelerator project and the GMP standard laboratory of 1,000 square meters, and then the two sides had an in-depth exchange discussion in the lecture hall.
At the symposium, President Ren Xiang gave a detailed introduction to the development of the platform and the operation of the project. With the strong support of provincial, municipal and district governments, China-UK science and technology innovation platform has gradually developed into a cross-border innovation model of one platform (China-UK science and technology innovation platform), two centers (domestic center and overseas center), three elements (China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Alliance City, China-UK International Innovation Industry Investment Fund), and multi-industries (biomedicine, electronic information, cultural tourism, big data, high-end services and other industries), building an international innovation channel, relying on the UK.
In the subsequent interactive session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the "fringe brain" smart chip, the development of international financial investment and the stem cell therapy industry. Chairman Xu Wenfeng said that the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform is based on the international market, using western technology to the east, pioneering and innovating, and the goal and mission of promoting the development of the East District and the rise of the Central Plains are the same as Zheng Xinjian Investment. He hoped that both sides would cooperate pragmatically in the future development, work together for win-win results and jointly contribute to the development of innovative industries in Henan Province.
