Leaders of the United Front Work Department of Henan Provincial Party Committee Visited and Sympathized with China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Platform

On the morning of January 19th, 2020, Zhang Lifang, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Wang Runling, director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Zheng Jixiao, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Li Gang, fourth-level researcher, director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Hou Yijia and his party, accompanied by Ma Anzhuang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengdong New District Administrative Committee, and Li Li, director of the Party and Group Office, visited and paid tribute to the biomedical enterprises invested by the Sino- Chairman Ren Xiang of the platform warmly received the delegation.

Under the guidance of Ren Xiang, chairman of the platform and Wei Dan, a senior talent and chief scientist, the leaders of the United Front Work Department of the provincial party committee visited the China-UK biomedical innovation sharing accelerator, the national human genetic resources sharing service platform and the cell regeneration application technology center and transformation base. After observing the modernized shared office park and GMP standard biomedical laboratory of the base, and knowing the construction situation and talent status of the base in detail, the leaders of the United Front Work Department fully affirmed the achievements of the platform in promoting medical science and technology innovation and talent introduction between China and Britain, and encouraged the platform to continue to give full play to the resource advantages of overseas Chinese enterprises and promote the economic development and competitive soft power of Henan Province.
