On July 20th, 2019, Yang Xinsheng, deputy director of the third bureau of China Merchants Bureau of Shaanxi Xixian New District Management Committee, and his delegation visited the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform to investigate the SOC chip project of the Internet of Things. Ren Xiang, chairman of the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform, warmly received and participated in the discussion.
At the beginning of the symposium, Deputy Director Yang Xinsheng gave a detailed explanation on the business environment and investment policies of Xixian New Area. Xixian New Area holds high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, takes Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of "Three Represents" and the scientific concept of development as the guidance, closely focuses on innovative urban development mode, takes the development path of resource intensive, industrial agglomeration, talent concentration and ecological civilization, promotes the simultaneous development of industrialization, informationization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, focuses on building an important fulcrum of the Silk Road Economic Belt, focuses on coordinating scientific and technological resources and developing high-tech industries. Efforts will be made to improve the integrated system and mechanism of urban and rural development, protect the ecological environment and history and culture, innovate the system and mechanism, and strive to build Xixian New Area into an important hub for China's opening to the west, a new engine for the development of the western region and an example of new urbanization with Chinese characteristics. Xixian New Area is full of expectations for the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform SOC project of Internet of Things, and very much hopes that the project can land in the new area and develop together.
On behalf of the platform, President Ren Xiang first thanked Deputy Director Yang for his arrival, and then briefed the visiting guests on the platform development and project details. The Sino-British science and technology innovation platform IoT SOC chip project is an intelligent cellular communication module for the "Internet of Everything" scenario jointly developed with WINGTECH, China Mobile Headquarters, China Mobile Xiong 'an Industrial Research and Development Institute and the University of Manchester, UK-the world's first system on a chip with 5G+ edge computing +JAVA application. Sino-British science and technology innovation platform is willing to cooperate with many parties, develop and explore together. It also hopes to make use of the favorable development atmosphere and business policies of Xixian New Area to promote the development of the project as soon as possible and contribute to the development of the national Internet of Things industry.
