At 9: 00 a.m. on April 8th, the 13th China (Henan) International Fair for Investment and Trade, jointly sponsored by Henan Provincial People's Government, Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, was grandly opened in Xuanyuantang, Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the theme of "open cooperation and brilliant Central Plains".
Wang Guosheng, secretary of provincial party committee, Chen Runer, governor, Liu Wei, chairman of CPPCC, Yu Hongqiu, deputy secretary of provincial party committee and other leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony. At 2: 30 pm, Mr. Ren Xiang, Chairman of China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Platform, attended and participated in Zhengzhou 2019 World Emerging Industries Conference and independent signing activities. The Sino-British Biomedical Innovation Sharing Accelerator Project of Sino-British Science and Technology Innovation Platform was signed as a benchmark cooperation project in the field of scientific research and development in Zhengdong New District, and vigorously supported cooperation and development with the help of the core advantages and industrial policies of Zhengzhou National Central City.
At 3 pm, as a representative enterprise of Henan Chamber of Commerce, China-UK Science and Technology Innovation Platform was invited to attend the 2019 China (Henan)-UK Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum. Shu Qing, Vice Governor of Henan Provincial People's Government, and Gareth Hoar, British Consul General in Wuhan, delivered speeches respectively. At the forum, representatives of China and Britain jointly signed the Action Plan of the British Consulate General in Wuhan of Henan Provincial Department of Commerce to Promote Economic and Trade Cooperation. According to the action plan, the two sides will make joint efforts to promote the establishment of a long-term communication mechanism of communication and docking negotiation between enterprises of both sides, comprehensively improve the level of industrial cooperation between the two sides, land a number of cooperation projects, and promote bilateral investment and trade to a new level.
