Openness leads development, cooperation and win-win future | The platform was invited to participate in the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services.

From September 2 to 6, the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Opening Up Leads development, cooperation and Win-win future", more than 80 countries and international organizations held exhibitions, and more than 2,400 enterprises participated offline.  

Focusing on the characteristics and innovative development of creative industries in China and Britain, Damon expounded the view that the development of digital culture will push the upstream and downstream development of the local industrial chain backwards. She said that the Sino-British science and technology innovation platform, combining the top industrial resources at home and abroad, will build a platform institution with international innovation capability, promote the deep integration of local digital industrial chain, talent innovation chain and policy financial chain, and write a new chapter in the development of the Central Plains in the new era. In the field of digital creativity, the platform is supported by digital technology, deeply understands the local environment and corresponding support of "water and soil clothing", explores the innovation mode of international cooperation, builds an international innovation cooperation hub, and strives to be a "translator" of Chinese and foreign cultures.

During the Trade Fair, Damon and his party visited the British Pavilion, and had in-depth exchanges with officials from the British Department of Commerce and Trade and the British National Research and Innovation Agency (China Office) on the innovation and development of China-UK international cooperation. Cooperate and negotiate with British companies such as Universal Music, Mel Science and Sensethefuture Pictures. In addition, Damon and his party also docked with officials from the trade departments of Italy, Germany, Norway, Belgium and other participating countries to build a new bridge for international trade cooperation between Henan and Europe, adding luster to the construction of an open and strong province in Henan.

As the guest of honor, Britain organized the largest delegation since the exhibition, and brought more interactive exhibition contents such as naked-eye 3D and AI robot games. The relevant person in charge of the British exhibition area expressed the hope that through the service trade fair, a platform for cooperation and exchanges between enterprises of the two countries will be built and new practical results will be achieved.
