Ren Xiang, Chairman of the Platform, was invited to attend the UK-Henan Business Roundtable.

On the afternoon of June 29th, the British-Henan Business Roundtable hosted by Henan Provincial Department of Commerce and British Consulate General in Wuhan was held at Sheraton Zhengzhou Meisheng Hotel. Ren Xiang, chairman of the platform, was invited to attend and speak as a representative of the enterprise.

The platform actively builds a bridge between Chinese and British people-to-people exchanges, and takes scientific and technological innovation as a link to promote business cooperation and exchanges between Henan and Britain. More than 30 people, including British parliamentarians, business representatives and industry experts, have been invited to visit Henan, coordinating and serving the main responsible comrades of provincial science and technology department, provincial development and reform commission and other departments to visit the UK. The platform will also promote innovation exchange as an important task, set up an offshore science and technology innovation incubator in the UK, and open up "Kechuang time tunnel" in Henan and the UK; United with China Office in Wales, UK, to promote the cooperation in science and technology between Henan and Wales, UK. We have contacted and coordinated government leaders, representatives of universities and enterprises for many times, and carried out exchanges and cooperation on smart agriculture, artificial intelligence, digital cultural and creative projects, which contributed to the landing of high-quality projects such as National Cancer Research and Development Center in Wales and PDR Industrial Design Center in UK in Henan.

This event is an official event jointly sponsored by Henan and the British Consulate General in Wuhan, after the platform participated in promoting British Ambassador to China Wu Ruolan's visit to Henan in 2021. After that, the platform deeply participated in a series of activities related to alumni activities in Britain, such as the afternoon tea of outstanding British alumni (Zhengzhou), the Queen of England birthday reception and platinum jubilee celebration dinner, and had in-depth exchanges with the British Ambassador to China, Ms. Wu Ruolan, and guests from all walks of life.
