The leaders of Henan Jiu San Society visited the Sino-British Biomedical Sharing Accelerator Project on the platform for special research.

On June 18th, the leaders of Henan Jiu San Society visited the platform Sino-British Biomedical Innovation Sharing Accelerator Project and settled in the Henan Genetic Resources Cell Bank, where they conducted a special investigation on intellectual property rights. Dr. Wei Dan, CEO of China-UK Biomedical Innovation Sharing Accelerator and Chairman of Henan Genetic Resources Cell Bank, and Dr. Ma Liangliang, an academic expert, gave a warm reception.

Under the guidance of Dr. Wei Dan, the delegation first visited the accelerator cell science exhibition gallery, cell sample room, cell laboratory, cell preparation center, etc., and got an in-depth understanding of the honorary qualification, expert team, technical development and patent achievements of the accelerator, and fully affirmed them.

Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on intellectual property issues such as enterprise patent development, patent layout and patent application. Dr. Wei Dan said: Enterprises should regard fist patents and basic patents as their core technologies, strengthen patent applications for related technologies, form patent portfolios, establish intellectual property barriers, and lead enterprises to form competitive development. The research group gave specific analysis and suggestions from the legal and policy levels on the issues of patent authorization cycle that enterprises care about and how to better protect technological innovation.

Finally, the two sides reached a consensus on daily communication, regular communication, property right consultation and other forms, and continued to promote cooperation in talents, research and development, industrial chain and intellectual property rights, and jointly promoted the high-quality and healthy development of cell industry.
