Chairman Ren Xiang won the honorary title of Advanced Individual of Henan European and American Alumni Association.

On February 20th, 2022, the third Council of the first session of Henan European-American Alumni Association (Henan Association for Overseas Students) was held in Zhengzhou. The meeting conveyed and studied the resolution of the second plenary session of the 11th provincial party committee and the spirit of the provincial United front work conference, reviewed and approved the work report made by Zhang Zhenyu, vice chairman of the provincial CPPCC and president of Henan European and American Alumni Association, and commended advanced collectives and individuals. Chairman Ren Xiang of the platform won the honorary title of "Advanced Individual of Henan European and American Alumni Association".

Chairman Ren Xiang stayed in Britain for many years, and he was a British high-tech talent winner. In 2011, he returned to China to start his own business, turning his patriotism and ambition to serve the country into an inexhaustible motive force to promote Henan's international scientific and technological innovation ability. In 2018, Ren Xiang founded the Sino-British Science and Technology Innovation Platform. On the one hand, it strengthened the scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation between China and Britain, acted as an international hub for government industrial innovation, played a vital role in civil diplomacy, and promoted regional intergovernmental cooperation through scientific and technological exchanges. On the other hand, it actively participated in the work of the European and American Alumni Association, promoted the innovative construction of Zhengzhou Haichuang Center of Henan European and American Alumni Association, continuously attracted international innovative resources and high-end talents to Henan for development, and successively introduced Welsh Cancer Research Center, Microsoft Cloud and Mobile Incubation Program and other places to Zhengzhou, helping our province's high-quality economic and social development.

In the exchange after the meeting, President Zhang Zhenyu fully affirmed that Ren Xiang has been deeply practicing the glorious tradition of European and American Alumni Association studying abroad to serve the country, and hoped that it could continue to play its fine tradition, continue to innovate and create, strive to promote foreign exchanges, expand the "circle of friends" in Henan, and attract more high-quality overseas projects and talents to invest and develop in Henan for common development.
